A Lettermen Christmas
Saturday, December 15, 2007 @ 4:00 p.m. & 8:00 p.m.
The beautiful voices of the singing trio, The Lettermen, first hit the music charts in 1961 with "The Way You Look Tonight". Their voices blended as one and after following that first hit with another chart topper, "When I Fall In Love”, they were voted best vocal group of that year. The '60's and early '70's saw The Lettermen score over 25 chart hit singles, including "Theme From A Summer Place", "Goin' Out of My Head/Can't Take My Eyes Off You" and "Hurt So Bad”. Their signature sound made romantic standards of songs such as "Put Your Head On My Shoulder”, and "Shangri-La”. The Lettermen have been part of Americana for over forty-five years. Now…just in time for the Christmas season, don’t miss The Lettermen performing a special Christmas concert at Civic Hall.

Crystal Gayle
Saturday, March 15, 2008 @ 8:00 p.m.
The blue eyed beauty from the Appalachian coal mining town of Paintsville, Kentucky, Crystal Gayle took country music to town on her arm in the ‘70’s and introduced it to mainstream audiences. Country, folk, pop, rock ’n roll, Broadway show tunes and gospel music all found an equal place in her heart. Like sister Loretta, growing up as the youngest of eight children, Crystal was a “coal miners daughter” before she was a platinum selling singer and a world-class entertainer. This will be an evening of music you won’t want to miss!
